While doing other research, I happened across this video footage from an airshow at the Tampa airport from 1949. It had the tag that there was a plane towing a sign that said "Fort Pitt Beer is Here".
That made me look at newspapers.com to see what the selling of Fort Pitt beer might have looked like here in Florida. From 1949 through 1950 it seemed to have a minor foothold but sadly it didn't seem to last very long. All ads ended by 1950. They even included a float in the annual Tampa Bay Gasparillo Parade. I tossed in a float image from Continental Canning Company since they had a big presence here in the Tampa Bay area.
