Thanks mark. I’ve been tied up all afternoon and couldn’t post as quickly.
If anyone in the DC burbs can’t make it to Beverly, please contact me. I may be able to put together an informal event for can friends, friends, and former coworkers.

Re: Charlie Bacon
I wasn't paying attention to the RB site around the time of his passing, so I missed the opportunity to comment here. The tribute Rustlings was awesome. I initially opened it at work but had to close it so people didn't wonder I was alternately laughing at some of the stories and becoming somber reading the tributes.
I got to know Charlie during the Blue-Gray heyday. He loved to talk Ballantine and while I am a piker compared to folks like Paul Dodge and himself, we always found Ballantine discussions to be interesting. He knew I was a Krueger guy, and made sure that I got one of the 16oz. Krueger Beer zips that he dug. The can was unknown prior to his find, and it will serve as a reminder as to who it came from any time I look at my Krueger shelf.
What an all-around great guy. RIP Charlie.
