About 7 months ago I came across an old racetrack while researching. Come to find out it was a horse racing track and was from what I can gather in use from the 1890’s to the 1930’s and last night I tracked down the property owner; I had his name address, phone numbers, birth year Etc…
Today I drove over and was able to obtain permission on a few hundred acres. He got a kick out of my restoration work on cans, and even said I can come back anytime after he returns from is Alaska fishing trip.
