Looking for Chief Oshkosh Crowntainer & 90s Aluminum
Would love to find a displayable crowntainer- a solid can is all. And would like to get at least 2 of the black aluminum Red Lager cans so I can display both sides. thanks, Andy

Re: Looking for Chief Oshkosh Crowntainer & 90s Aluminum
I got you covered on the Red Lager aluminium- I have another twelve pak somewhere in the attic from my uncle’s liquor store. My Moms brother owned the store in the 90’s and my Dads brother owned it in the 70’s and 80’s! They both fed my addiction for beer, beer signs, beer cans and more beer. Plaza Liquor hosted daily parties in the back room and I remember the day these showed up- talk about a beer can connection! Found a couple strays that are bottom-opened you can have for actual shipping. Not so sure I want to part with my ChiefO ‘tainer, found it in a collection and it was rough. I realized the power of oxalic years later and gave it a soak. Ziphippie

@Ziphippie
Interesting back story!
If you ever get up to the attic, I'd be interested in one the aluminum Chief Oshkosh Red Lager Beer cans. (It was the 1992 BCCA can of the year.)
Let me know and maybe we can work out some kind of offer/deal.
Thanks.

That sounds yummy, send away. Thank you!
Watched this recently, shot at Marineland of Florida again- thought of your work. Didn’t see any Bud cans or skeletal remains in the underwater scenes, had me lookin’ though. Ziphippie

Re: Looking for Chief Oshkosh Crowntainer & 90s Aluminum
Nice. One of my favs! Some parts of 1 and 2 were filmed at Wakulla (near Tallahassee) and a couple years ago I got to swim out and scare tourists on Halloween wearing a Creature mask a ranger had. I am actually going to Silver Springs tomorrow (where they filmed about all the scenes not from Marineland and Wakulla) to teach children how to launch spears 100s of feet with Atlatls. Will send a thank you pack shortly... Andy
