Are those 12 ounce cans? If so, I haven't seen them in this part of the country yet! I'd be interested in trading for them if possible.

2016 has been a banner for drinking historical Colorado beers. First was the Walters pilsener I drank during the Super Bowl back in February. Tonight I drank Tivoli Heller lager in a steinie bottle! This lager was their first brew in 1859 according to the story on the label. I liked it better than the Walters (which was their original pilsener recipe).

R U interested in joining a chapter that covers not only collecting related news, but also brewing industry news, jokes, and stories about the oftentimes hilarious, occasionally tragic events in which those who have had one, or two, or ten too many engage, all written with a sick, twisted demented bent???

I get it- think this was just a RB test to weed out any sicko's that pop their own tops. Nice try, Kurt! They don't say on the can if jokes are included. Bjorn

Probably hard to put a joke in the bottom of a drawn aluminum can. But you do need to top open one just to make sure it doesn't have a joke in the bottom like the old ones.......
How many of our shelfers have jokes? I think I remember that some of your old Jolly's were top opened.

The jokes show up in straight and crimped steel cans but not the aluminum cans on my shelf with the same early label design. I was drinking a fruit punch so it didn't get included- No Root Beer?! Wisconsin favorites- Bjorn

Speaking of Oberon, here is something I did not know until last night. "The brew is Bell’s second-highest seller, even though it’s only on shelves part of the year." I knew it was really popular but I did not realize they sell that much of it in such a short period of time. Here is a link to the rest of the story from the news last night.

http://woodtv.com/2017/03/26/oberon-day ... on-monday/
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio

Last month I had the opportunity to buy 8 full Anchor Steam Christmas magnum bottles, 4 from 1998 and 4 from 2000. They hold 50.7 ounces each. I drank 7 of them so far. Working on the last one now.

Ironguts guys, does 400 ounces of 16+ year old beer, qualify for membership?

In Tampa. Started out at Bush Gardens drinking Hop....? Something lol 6-16 ounces can't remeMerry the name lol. Was trying to get the nerve to ride the Falcons Fury (look up on you tube--wicked..). Didn't happen. Lol. Something about looking straight down from 30 stories up that just wears me out.
Then rum and coke, draft Guiness and a shot of crown chilled. Now working on Captain Morgan and Coke
Interested in all flat and Cone Soda and Water cans.

Found this today in a store I don't frequent often. I have anosmia so I can't give much of a critique of the taste but I'm I huge 'Maiden fan so it fits another wheelhouse.

Having breakfast for supper: hot Italian Sausage, eggs, onions, tomatoes and shredded cheese.
Kona Big Wave Golden Ale (from Colorado), Miller high Life (from Trenton, Ohio) before dinner to loosen up the taste buds.
Long Trail Vermont IPA with supper, then one more for desert.
But which one?
