After talking to ziphippie prior to his post we discussed what may be under the meister brau lite enamel as I have one on my shelf.
He noticed it but I didnt want to rub it out as its a hard can to find as an enamel. I will wait to rub mine out until I find another to take its place.
Bjorn got his off ebay for I think under $10 though... I doubt if that will be the case anytime soon.
Looking for Waukesha beer, water & soda; cans, bottles and signs.

@Ted Wolfe Interesting. Gives a whole new perspective on looking at Old German cans.....and the possibility that there could be a Keglet pull tab.....

It has a wide seam, and is a National Can Co. can. Both that design and 2-100-33-0 (the National Can Co. design with red letter "Brewed and Packed by") are commonly, but not always, paint overs. I did find a Whitman and Lords under one, but usually found pop cans.

Here’s one I gave up on some time ago, had to try again after seeing the Keglet under an Old German. Fantastic can! Many hours of q-tips on this one. There is another label still hidden under the Senators Club. It looks like the Seasons Greetings Nat Bo on the shelf behind it embossed in the primer- Ziphippie

Sometimes things just don’t work out. Under the Fischer’s Old German. Cross-hatched primer with no lacquer between the labels and some rippling of steel, like trying to rubout a golf ball. Ziphippie

I’m with you bro ! Tackled one of them awhile back. It seemed like they smashed the (fishnet) primer print hard into the label underneath. Really hard, especially when they don’t put the clear coat on.

Only fishnet can I've seen is the fishnet Billy beer I have in my collection.... Pretty sure there is nothing underneath but saved it because everyone who doesn't know beer cans, walks into my basement and wants to know if you have a "Billy Beer Can".

Very cool looking (for a Billy Beer!). Most likely was going to be painted over with a common white Iroquois but decided not to?

I’ve had a few triple label cans but nothing close to this ! Nothing spectacular by themselves. I really like the Gayla over the POC. There was a fifth one in their but it was really faint(red R over the G in Gayla and an A above the a) So I say paintover 4.5

Well if this was "beverage company" instead of "preserving company" Random Lake Wisconsin I'd still be rubbing hoping it was one of those Jolly Good R1 or R2 cans but sadly it isn't. Sorry Kurt @kamsquared there isn't a joke in the bottom of the can either.

Maybe @JustJoe would like to keep rubbing it...
