I like your suggestion! Obviously my collecting niche is variety but here are my favorite Michigan cans (actually, the only ones I've got). Click to enlarge.

This is the first one that came to my mind but I have others I like too. Maybe I will post them later.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

Okay, here's another. I cannot post the Big Mac can without also posting the Pfeiffer ore boat can. Photo is courtesy of Randy's site:

Re: Favorites from Michigan
Not sure I have any Indiana cans photographed, anything I still have would be just some common stuff. I do however have some of my former Michigan cans I posted Facebook back in July on the "Friday Favorites" thread. Other than a set of the Pfeiffer scene cans, these are the ones I liked the most and probably should have kept. Hell, could have bought a nice new car cash given today prices.

Last one from me for now. There is always https://www.mbcinfo.com for detailed images of most known Michigan variations. The following is from recent CanDB feature where can basically create any type of view.

My all time favorite dumping adventure is when I found the Alpine. The pic below are the other 3 Michigan favorite cans.

Re: Favorites from Michigan
My MI cans. Interesting that the National Sportsman has a Florida tax lid.
Always looking for West Virginia breweriana from Fesenmeier and Parkersburg.

Re: Favorites from Michigan
Thanks Joe. Goebel Bock clean from Detroit is a tough can. As for the Guinness Beer, is that #44058? If yes, any chance I could get large pics of all four sides for my MBC web site?

Some I wished I had back. The Goebel with the Florida stamp has got to be an oddball.

The old Gold was a timely acquisition.
No telling what an example would go for now.
I plan to donate all my cans to Henry Ford Museum.

Re: Favorites from Michigan
Here are 6 interesting Michigan cans. The National and Sportman cans are 2 mockup cans from the brewery . The red Altes was purchased at the first buy sell show I ever attended in the ten cent bin. It had never been soaked.
