Working on updating my previous post of Michigan Labels, I came across these paper labels put out by Koppitz-Melchers Brewery in Detroit. They are all dated 1942. With the recent Veteran's Day being celebrated, I tried to dig up as many as I could. I read somewhere that there's a total of 100. That being said, I could only track down 21 of them.
I think it would be nice to display all 100 of them for reference purposes. If you have any to contribute to this assortment, please post here or PM them to me and I'll update the image as the search progresses.
Thanks in advance for any assistance...click to enlarge.

Re: Wartime Labels.
Man, what great pics. I've had more labels than cans over the years and just never managed to get one of these. just weird really. Did they put Disney nose cone art on any of their labels? I have Pepsi Matchcovers from WWII that have some Disney co-opted art on them.
Interested in breweriana with Native American images or language of all kinds.

@hemmings
If you look at my collage, second row, first one on the left has Disney nose art. Here's that picture:
I Googled that site "toonsatwar.blogspot.com" and there's plenty of links to follow for images and history of Disney and their support of the war effort. The Pinterest has numerous links:
etc., etc., etc...

Re: Wartime Labels.
That's really interesting to see on a beer label. For years I've heard/thought that only the Operation Deep Freeze cans with the castle were the only time Disney art ended up on a beer thing. Very cool, thanks for links...Andy
