As for the number of grade 1 or better examples known . . . would you believe at least a dozen? I was shocked when I learned that. Bob McCoy wanted that can more than any other cone, but never had a shot at one. He spoke of it often, even after selling his collection. I was talking on the phone with Bob one day several years ago, and "how many?" came up, and in short order he listed 12 that he knew of in collections.

Not totally surprised. There’s more Apaches than folks think too. Howdy.
I know of a mint Clipper cone in an Ohio collection.
I've seen it personally, but have not spoken to the (older) gentlemen who owned it, in quite some time.
Don't really want to share his name (which might not be cool with him) but he's a big Ohio cone collector in the Dayton area.
