So the discussion on the Von Beer can sent me down a rabbit hole but sadly I came up with nothing in the newspapers.com.

I did however find some great graphics on a Von Brewery that was in Detroit from 1933 -1935 and thought to share them.

Interesting that the Brewmaster was a Stegmeyer. The spelling is diferent, but wonder if they are related to the New York Brewer

Not sure but interestingly enough Maier of the Maier California brewery is related to the Stegmaier family. They dropped the "Steg"
