Plan B

#1

Post by bantam10 »

I ended up doing a "plan B" return trip to a large hillside dump I've been to 3x before. Almost entirely 1939-1940 with a small 50s section and mixed vernors and masons soda flats mixed in. Dump is on a massive incline with a watershed at the bottom strewn with dead trees.
I found a large section that was practically untouched and hidden due to the fact that it was covered with tons of barbed wire.
I ended up pulling out lots of good cans, certainly more effort and reward this time around apparently?
Really think a meister brau will be an upgrade.

I thought so....Standard?

Thats' not a J-Spout I have seen before. Concave bottom? If it is, I wonder if it has a chance of being a paintover?

Yes Standard. It’s got a flat bottom too.

Here's the cleaned product. The rough can is an old Milwaukee with the waiter. Good can, it was completely beadless which was why I kept it.

Upgrades
Meister brau
Vernors
Frankenmuth (possibly)

New cans

Most of those cleaned up really nicely. I have a lot to learn in cleaning up cans!

Do the Meister Braus say "Natural Gas" on them on the side panel?

I’ll have to double check. But I don’t believe them to be a tough variation
