Tin Tackers

#1

Post by CMD »

Tin Tackers...I love them, they are graphic and cheap and I could fill a whole garage wall of them in no time.

Here's a few of my favorites...the Shiner is off the hook , they gave it that retro look

The new Shiner tacker is actually a reproduction of a 40's reverse on glass sign with a tin frame.

It is cool!

Excuse my ignorance, but what exactly is a tin tacker? Are these new?

Ron, I don't know what you mean by that....Although the core of this site, is (and always will be) Rusty Beer Cans , this site moved away from just rusty cans and beer cans years ago to all encompassing breweriana hobby website which tin tackers are certainly a part of.

In reality the Shiner sign is not a reproduction , because it was issued by the same brewery , its called a re-issue.

Also, tin tackers from new craft breweries are not reproductions.
