It's That Time Again...
Rifle season just started but here's some decent archery successes. Been a few years now but I still miss being out there.

Re: It's That Time Again...
Good lord....those are some monsters! I would drop my rifle if I saw one of those walk by my stand.
I will be in the woods in the Delta of Miss first light Wednesday a.m.

@Roy Rogers
Yeah! If I ever saw one like those, I'd probably drop my rifle too and after regaining consciousness, I'd probably have to change my underwear. Those are some really lucky or exceptional hunters. As a rule, people don't flock to Michigan for big bucks like they do for some other states.

Even though I can't hunt anymore, I can still watch the deer on various online cams. Here's one of my favorites. It's in Iowa:

Maybe if I spent more time on their site I could figure this out but I did not see it on their About Me page. Are they baiting these deer for an upcoming hunt or are they simply using the bait to attract deer to their cam for entertainment?

Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

@pinnacle-project
Bryan,
Their cam has been on for a number of years. The feeder has progressed to what you see currently. They started with one like the image below that a guy is using in the UP. http://www.joshsteinland.com/cam-live.php
There's a page (https://crushlivedeercam.weebly.com/) that mentions the feeder:
The Crush LIVE Deer Cam was started to give viewers a glimpse at deer interacting in the WILD. NO, this is not a high fence property. No hunting is done near the feeder. In fact, neighbors are able to hunt closer to it than the Crush Crew. Lee & Tiffany are using a new feeder designed by the Vail company. This feeder will be adjusted to drop corn at an interval where there should always be enough for the day.
The baiting rules in Iowa are pretty straight forward while our Michigan ones are more detailed. Here's where you can read them:
IOWA: https://www.lucky-buck.com/blogs/state- ... tions/iowa (1 minute read)
Michigan: https://www.lucky-buck.com/blogs/state- ... s/michigan (3 minute read)
So your second thought of entertainment value would be correct.
