I like pretty much all of them. I will say that The Big Lebowski is the most overrated and Burn After Reading is the most underrated, but all are worth watching.

It's the only movie I have on my laptop, and I have the song as a ringtone for a few old timers I know. Arizona is great too, "Son, you got a panty on your head."

For comedies, the Big Lebowski is best. For dramas, I'll go with No Country for Old Men. If that movie had a better ending, it could have been one of the best movies in years.

Boy, you ain't lyin there. So much time invested in that movie and then that ending. There has to be an alternate ending somewhere.

My vote is for Fargo, hands down. I like everybody in that cast individually, and putting them all together was a stroke of genius.

Miller's Crossing gets honorable mention.

Oh ya, Fargo is the one!
I liked Burn after Reading, but it was slightly weird.
Most of them on the list are good, the ones I have seen. No country was good, but like others have said, the ending was less than climactic.
Never saw the Big L. Not a big desire too.
Blood Simple was good. O Brother had it's good moments, overall kind of uneven. True Grit was good.

Raising Arizona and Fargo are pretty good, I always laugh at the Big Lebowski when the Dude drops the roach between his legs in the car and tries to put it out with beer, then crashes into the dumpster.

Seen them all. I like 'Blood Simple,' 'No Country for Old Men,' and 'True Grit' best. They blew the John Wayne 'Grit' off the screen.

Obviously I like the thrillers, though 'Fargo' and 'Arizona' are my picks out of the comedies. Not many surprises in my picks. I am a huge fan since I saw 'Blood Simple' in the theater where it made its UK debut in '85. It blew my mind.

It definitely wasn't the archetypal gangster movie, but I think that's why I liked it. It moved differently, and the setting and tone were a complete divergence from your traditional Chicago/New York mob movie fare. Plus I love Christopher Walken no matter what he does, so that was a big help.

But yeah, I am a Godfather junkie. All of them, even the somewhat unpopular third installment.

For me it would be a tie between Raising Arizona and Miller's Crossing.

I think Dashiell Hammett's Red Harvest was the basis of the plot for Miller's Crossing!

Buscemi...that guy gets me rolling on the floor every time I see him. And he had such a dark comic character in Fargo, taking himself so seriously when in fact he was just a dweeb with limited faculties. Peter Stormare, on the other hand, was all kinds of creepy. You can watch Constantine where he plays the part of the devil, and even that's not half as weird as watching him play Gaere Grimsrud in Fargo.

What was the movie where Buscemi played "Crazy Eyes?" I can't remember the movie offhand but I also can't get his image out of my head. WAY too funny. There are certain things in this world that, once seen, cannot be "unseen." He's one of them.
