Interesting topic. I actually compiled this list several months ago, including USBC #'s. I didn't get around to the 16 oz. flats and the cones, but these flat tops were all dumped from surface dumps in Iowa by me between 1976-1979, most within 15 miles of my family's farm:

Brent obviously forgot the 50's Storz Winterbru we dumped (my first can in a can) and I also know he dumped some Koenig Brau quarts. He also forgot the dump full of Best FT's we found not too far from the farm where he was raised. He also came up with several cases of indoor Koenig Brau cones many years ago...I know there were at least 2 varieties in that find.

I knew that I could count on you to fill in the details!

Brad, I'm sure you remember Jim Sherrell (sp?). I was just reminiscing about dumping with him in Iowa during one of his road trips back from California. We ran into a phenomenal dump full of wire. I brought my cutters and made my way down to find two nice Western Brews. There was also a refrigerator at the bottom of the other side. Jim worked his way to it and opened it up. Lo and behold it was full of empty Schmidt Scene zip tabs (some bottom opened)...almost all in remarkable condition. I told Jim to go ahead and take them all...after all they were only pull tabs and I already had the flats. I wish I had them now!

I am not sure if this counts and I will let you decide! But thought I would share the story.

Bob Villers found the Autocrat OI (Chicago) in Pleasanton,IA. in an antique store and spent a ton of money---like 7 BUCKS!!! in the late 70's . Its the one pictured in the USBC & LILEK OI book.

Rumors have always been said that Autocrat was sold here in Iowa and probably true, but you know how Rumors are as I don't know of any dumpers EVER EVER found here.
