STANDINGS: 2021 NASCAR Cup Series RB Pick a Winner

I believe this was a discussion last year and we were gonna use actual finishing order not adjusted finishing order. I will see if I can find it.

I remember the discussion but I thought the final decision was we would go by NASCAR final finishing order within a week of the race.

I have decided that I am absolutely, positively NOT going to complain about bad luck the rest of the year. To my thinking, Daytona and Talladega are the two most difficult tracks to pick all year--both tracks routinely lose 10+ drivers in "The Big One" wrecks. Well, somehow, I managed to get first and second in the two Daytona races this year! If I had picked Michael McDowell and Bubba Wallace in the other order, I would have 56 points instead of 3. I almost feel like I need to apologize for getting that lucky on these two ...

Maybe can have a revote before 2022 season? I understand a PIA for keeping stats but otherwise can't see any logic or fairness in awarding a 2nd place finish to someone that cheated. Just my 2 cents. Maybe make it so that the owner feeling ripped off has to inform the commish within a specified period in order to get stats changed so that lessens the stress on the commish.

No problem! Sounds like we should revisit this for 2022. Based on our current discussion, I need to correct Chris Buescher finishing order for @agkg25220. The problem that I have is that I rely on NASCAR results for the finishing order and they don't post the "original" finishing order.
I will get that out shortly!

That's the one! I corrected @agkg25220 points to show Buescher in 2nd place. We'll have to argue this rule in the off season. At this point, I am holding up to what we agreed to last year.

Until it gets appealed and repealed.....so Buescher goes from 2nd to 40th and back to 2nd......

The Biggest Loser will be @Beamer UNLESS he averages higher than a 27th place finish the last 3 races and goes over the 720 point threshold.
