Pabst 10oz Diamond Design Cans - No Mira Seam Logo

#1

Post by dtsoc »

Hi everyone,
Does anyone have first generation (diamond design) 10 oz cans without the mira seam logo on the side? These are the first generation diamond design cans and appear to be very rare. If you have one and would be willing to post pics, that would be awesome. I will post what I have tomorrow.
Thanks,
Dave

Dave,

I looked at all my Pabst diamonds and they have the mira-can emblem on the side. Now that I think of it, I don't recall ever seeing any of them before, except for this unrolled 6 oz. sheet.

I know at least one of these cans does not have the logo on it. The Ginger Ale on the right definitely does not have the logo.

I am in NYC & Philly this week, but when I return to the left coast I will post 360 degee pictures of the Ginger Ale.

P.S. I notice that the flat 6 oz. has the same wording as the 10 ounce can that I have! Maybe the Ginger Ale was the first flavor made???

Here are the 3 that I have in my collection: The can is a rolled example. This can also exists in a black cherry!
I would assume that a cola also existed, but I have never seen one. This may be a very, very tough 1st generation can!

Dave,

According to a note I wrote in my book, I may have an offgrade Orange without the Mira-Seam. Now I just have to find it. :smt017

Hi Brent,
It should be the same "sparkling Orange" as the far right can in the picture in this thread.
I am thinking these are a lot harder to find than I realized!!!
