Re: Super Cool Soda Variations
It looks like they continued using the wide seam labels when they went to the narrow seams. We are seeing some of that in beer cans and decided that these are just different enough to create new can entries.
I have not seen any multiple canning company codes like those in the beer can world. Don’t know why they would do that.
Thanx for sharing.

Re: Super Cool Soda Variations
I’d guess they are rolled sheets. I’ve seen multiple canning plant numbers on proofs. Talked to specks69 about this in the past- ink would be cleared from the seam area or it would not properly seal. Ziphippie

Re: Super Cool Soda Variations
Thanks for posting these cans Bill. That one with the multiple canning codes is cool.
Champagne Velvet #157-11. Matt actually has one of these on ebay right now if anyone is interested in adding a neat variation to their collection.
Grain Belt, #167-19
Red Top, #181-4
Wiedemann, #189-10, This image was taken from one of Matt's past auctions. I'm not sure who ended up with it.

Jerry, There are a couple of cones with 2 canning codes that I know of. I always wondered about them.Uncle Jackson wrote: ↑Sat Oct 17, 2020 6:57 am I have not seen any multiple canning company codes like those in the beer can world.
