New book sure is Handi

#1

Post by Scott Rollert »

Moving some boxes around in the garage the other day and saw a Handi pop can that had gotten wedged behind a box and the wall. I didn't remember digging that particular can, but figured it came from our "Sky Sox" dump back in 1988. The condition and type of dents were consistent with cans we got from that dump. I had already did some straightening on it, but 30+ years later, my techniques are quite improved. So I thought why not look it up in my brand new soda guide from Dave Tanner. And yes, this is a shameless plug for Dave's new guide. He's done a masterful job with it. As it turns out, this particular Handi is listed as an R0. I'd have never thought that can lost in my garage would be such a tough flavor in that generation label. Thanks for the outstanding work on your new guide, Dave!

Appropriate TLC was given, and a spot was opened for it in my Colorado collection.

Sweet can - That’s a nice dump find! Wow!
I collect one flavor of rare soda can generations. Also publish Collectible Soda Cans - don't hesitate to contact me with cans you have available or questions about old soda cans.
