Light rock root beer quart can

#1

Post by Ctbott1 »

I brought home all the quart cans I could find from the dump I’ve been documenting. Some are half cans etc but I want to get a list.

I have one cooking right now that I didn’t think would clean up but it’s Light Rick old fashioned root beer.

Anyone have a picture of a nice one?

Thank you everyone. I will post a pic tomorrow. I pulled it out after just a 2 hour soak so I’m sure it could be better but i has to leave and I didn’t want it sitting over night.

I’m too new to the cleaning thing to leave any cans soaking for very long - I’ll let the next guy finish them all off

Here are the pictures after a two hour soak. I’m sure it will clean up better but I didn’t expect it to clean up at all when I first put it in. It looked like it was burned.

It's rough, but that's still a pretty awesome can - very low population of known examples!
Best of luck.

If a pretty badly rusted can with a big hole in the front can be a beauty … that is a beauty! Lived in CT for most of the last 40 years and never saw one myself, anywhere!
