I'm in if we can get enough guys. The guys at work have a Nascar pool with a great format I wouldn't mind using.

Re: NA$CAR fantasy.....
There is a little bar that a few of my friends and I get in a weekly pool. The way the bar owner's pool works is as follows. After qualifying you pick one driver out of the first 5 in starting position, then one driver from the next five on down the line for a total of 8 drivers. After the race all of your driver's points earned that day are added and that is your score for the race. High score wins. It certainly makes the race more exciting, as you have 8 drivers to follow and they change generally week to week. Some picks are usually no-brainers, but it is tough when qualifying is cancelled and all the good drivers are all bunched together. My 2 cents.

Re: NA$CAR fantasy.....
That doesn't sound too bad, I like the idea of having 8 different guys to cheer for.
We have two of them at work. One is where you just pick two numbers (1-43) out of a hat and whatever numbers you pick are the starting positions of your guys. If you pick the number 20 and Matt Kenseth is starting 20th, then he's your guy. If you pick #40, you're probably getting Kyle Petty . This one's all luck of the draw which is why I don't like it.
The other one has 10 guys and you each pick one driver for that weeks race. If I come in first this week then I pick last next week. If you come in ninth this week, you pick second next week. If you come in last this week you pick first next week etc. It sounds simple but there's a lot of strategy involved and the points are always changing. The guys at work play it for $10 a week with money going to each weeks winner and also a good chunk of money for the "champion" at the end of the season. I would prefer to play for beer cans where you just pay to the top three or so guys at the end of the season.
Anybody else have any suggestions (or even any interest?).

Re: NA$CAR fantasy.....
I know nothing about Nascar. Evidently I know not much more about baseball and football (see my fantasy results). I need to clear more cans out of the basement, so I'm in!
