I've never seen a Dr. Wells can. When I was around 9 years old, maybe until I was about 13, there was one soda pop machine at one resort at Lake of the Ozarks that had Dr. Wells in bottles. The stuff was absolutley delicious. It was one of the highlights of the family vacations to The Lake twice annually from about 1969 through 1974. Thanks for bringing back those memories.

Thanks for the interesting story! I have several different designs of Dr. Wells cans and at least one bottle. Maybe I'll post a picture, later.

John, glad to know you got my picture. I looked at the latest can I have which says it's produced under authority of The Monarch Co., Inc., Atlanta, Ga. 30342, then, canned by Mid-Continent Bottlers., Inc. P. O. Box 4656, Des Moines, Ia. 50306. My guess is it's still available. Hope this helps, and have a Happy New Year! DrWho

Got a The Skipper? That was my mixer of choice freshman year, circa 1988, which I think was a house brand for I think Safeway in that part of Virginia. Any I kept sadly got downsized along with nearly all my aluminum after college...

Hi! Yes, I do have several designs of that one, from Safeway, but still looking for the Homeland version. I appreciate your post, though. Thanks
