You Just Don't Know How We Miss Dumping with Dickey. It was a Blast. I remember We had to Kill 12 Old Detroit Gallons. Because he needed them For Traders. The Beer was Horrible.

Re: Dick Adamowicz (RB #5)
Absolutely killer album. I have a few of those on my shelf and they will probably never leave. I'm glad him and I have talked extensively at the last couple shows.

When Dick finished up, the UP was about three tons lighter. New York was one ton lighter, the west coast at least half a ton lighter, Minnesota half a ton lighter, and Canada...at least a ton lighter.
Toledo, however, was six tons heavier.

I'm sure most of the Kingsbury's, Pfeiffer's, and Goebel's on my shelf are from the Tea Toteler Caper. About 20 years ago, I used to buy a lot of rust from Uncle Dick. He would sell that stuff by the case in the advertising section of the news report.

Re: Dick Adamowicz (RB #5)
For a fellow Toledoan I was really surprised that I saw Zero Buckeye cans in those great pictures. I'm sure he dumped plenty but just seemed weird. I would have loved to go on a trip or two with him back in the day. I got to see his basement once - pretty cool.

Re: Dick Adamowicz (RB #5)
Great pics but i have one question. I thought in the midnight raid they found the first at least one genny 12 horse LO or light ale? I always wondered where that spot was and if we ever found the remnants of that dump as we found several dumped dumps over the years.

Re: Dick Adamowicz (RB #5)
I met Dick back in '86 at the Frankenmuth summer swap. I went home with a pile of Dick's Canadian rust. May of those cans are still on my shelf today. Dick would use a coloured dab of paint on the top or bottom of the cans to identify price. Even now, years later, I'll roll over a can at a show to see if has a dab of paint and if it does you know it is one of Dick's dug cans

Wow, wow, & holy cow!
My hat's off to uncle Dick, for having the foresight to take pictures of all those cans over the years! (decades).
The sheer volume of clean cans is amazing! to say nothing of the variety!!
Just incredible!
My new years wish would be to see pictures from some of our other founding fathers,...
There are so many who could contribute their dumping pictures...
Well, hope some do.
