Eric Palmer is the man behind this list. Here is his story in his own words...

Lets see.....50 Year old, married, high school teacher with a 4 year old son. Been collecting cans since middle school (mid-1970's). The true "closet collector". Never joined any groups until a couple of years ago. I would acquire cans and then just put them in boxes. For some reason I have a photographic memory for can details and always knew what I had.... Had to carry around a couple of storage units at one time. I have a HUGE collection of Salem Brewery Association/Salem Sick's items but I no longer collect anything but cans, so it will probably soon go on the auction or trade block to acquire some more upscale NW cans, Shelves finally went up 3 years ago and I was finally able to see what all I had. Probably had 10,000 cans before I ever joined any collectors group. Completed my first ever trade with a collector just a year ago believe it or not. I now belong to Cascade Breweriania Assoc. , BCCA, ABA and Rusty Bunch as well. Because I live in the Boonies, I am most active in the the Rusty Bunch due to its digital offerings.

What I now collect is kind of strange. There are so few cans left from the NW that I need or are available, that now I try to get every can from the breweries that once produced in Oregon or Washington. So I collect ALL cans (not just NW cans) from Carling, General, Pabst, Hamms, Colt 45, Heileman, Olympia, Rainier, Atlantic, Sicks etc. Its kept my interest.
I am sure that my Olympia collection has no peer with hundreds of unlisted cans. I am a couple of Lucky's and 1 Aluminum Jax Lite away from every General Brewing can produced. (I finally got a Manchester last month from a Rusty Buncher). Lastly, I collect Bicentennial commemorative beer/soda cans..but very rarely does one show up I don't have. Basically I felt if I was going to get any of the REALLY rare cans I was missing, I would have to get more active, start networking, and get known. The composite list is my first shot across the bow of can collectordom.
Glad you liked it. It was fun for me. Hope to send you more in the future.

Post pics of what you have that needs to be added here. Eric will confirm the additions and add them to the master lists. Then he sends the new master list to Dave, myself or Aussiekeith and we'll have Danny update the file(s) on the website. Pics of additions are essential for confirmation.

Hi Eric (great name by the way),

I'm not sure how up to date the list here is and how minor of variations you are listing, but I have the following cans in my collection:

Blitz-Weinhard 1-39-24 with ccc32
Blitz-Weinhard 1-39-29 with ccc32F
Champagne Velvet 1-49-07 with keglined in oval
Champagne Velvet 1-49-08 with Oregon mandatory at seam
Olde English 1-108-39 with ccc32 (95% sure)
Blitz-Weinhard 1-225-24 with ccc32F (95% sure)
Blitz-Weinhard 1-225-28

My cans are pretty rough, so a couple of these I am not 100% sure about, and it is unlikely you will be able to tell the canning codes on those from the pictures. Also my camera is not great, but if you want pictures of any of these let me know.

Eric
