Noch Eins J Not In Book
[IMG]//images.tapatalk-cdn.com/15/10/17 ... 0eb1cf06b6.
Until two weeks ago I didn't know this can existed. Had heard it was supposed to be out there but that was it...the second one is the more common higher than 3.2 variation. Beer Cans Plus also has one available right now from Gene's collection. Have you guys run into the plain IRTP/Contents 12 oz. before? Wording also differs from the silver Noch Eins J spouts..

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
I collected J-Spouts for ten years before I learned of this variation. I still haven't been able to confirm a matching silver version.
I have, however, confirmed (and acquired) a DNCMT 3.2% white can.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
Marc-- I've never seen the DNCMT variation of this can..so there's three different cream colored Noch Eins J spouts and two silver variations.....

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
I've been hunting down J-Spout variations since 1997, and I've never seen another example of the white DNCMT 3.2% can. I've seen a total of five without the alcohol statement now, assuming yours is the can on eBay recently. There's an ongrade example in a prominent Ohio collection, and a lesser example turned up about the time as that can and mine . . . I'd never seen the variation and three of them showed up from different sources within 2 - 3 weeks. I considered buying Gene's when I was at his place in August, and it's still on my short list as a potential future purchase.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
Outstanding pics Mike and Marc. I only have the white 3.2% version, though not nearly in as good of shape. Mine is a dumper purchased for $3 at a Gator Traders show back in the 90s. I can't remember who I got it from.
For what it's worth, the Wolpe Catalog does list both white and silver no alcohol variations, but did not list the 3.2% version, only 3.2-7%.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
Phil,
Wolpe seems to have speculated quite a bit on J-Spouts in particular. A silver Noch Eins without statement seems very likely, as does a third Fitzgerald's Pale Ale flat bottom, but anything else I haven't confirmed already would qualify as a huge surprise. I need to do a composite.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
DGR updates will get help get us there. And yes, I agree as to Wolpe speculation, but on the flip side, there are many variations he did not list.

Hey Mark,
I thought you knew I had a white DNCMT 3.2% white. I'm still looking for the white and silver no alcohol variations.

Jim,
Well, I don't recall knowing you had one, but you're obviously one of the leading suspects to have any cone variation. Do you have a DNCMT 3.2% white Bruck's? That's another that mine is the only one I've seen.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
Yep, I have one.
I believe this came from Mr. Lovegun at mini-can a few years ago. If I remember right, he said a friend of his dumped it when he was a kid. Unfortunately he touched
up some of the white on the front.

Re: Noch Eins J Not In Book
Oh, very nice. I got mine from Robby, and he'd never seen another either. That's at least 30 years of looking between the two of us.
You and I usually end up discussing scarce labels whenever I see you; we need to have a discussion on variations instead. Are you going to Indy next weekend?

Jim,
I'll drive right by Canton Thursday on my way down to Indy, and I grew up in Plymouth. I guess I won't see you until Buckeye or Spring Thaw then.
