Re: welcome to the camp
Excellent. The bigger the adventure, the better for me. I love a good bike-in target.

Re: welcome to the camp
Hey Tommy...............Yes we hiked what was once a logging road to a former Log camp spot, a mile and a half possibly. Some cans were found off the 2 track before reaching main target. The Professor researched an pinpointed as potentially rusty location. Both sides of the 2 track have mostly 1950s beer cans scattered around, the lower side having larger dumping areas. The condition of cans varies as most of the beer cans were closer to the surface, randomly dumped, no main dump. We only dug an checked the spot for an hour, the wind seemed to be increasing, I mentioned to Tom that I had heard a tree cracking or falling, difficult to cage how far away into the forest. The tree's changed from pines to hardwood to a mixture of both on the journey into and back out. We agreed to leave by 6 in the afternoon, we started back to my truck 5:30 or so, taking about 20 to 25 minutes to hike directly back. Two hour drive or more was waiting once the truck was reached. The logging camp spot possibly has a second hit, it isn't the end of the 2 track. I figured The Professor would recheck an expand the search for more Rust. KooL, to see color & condition on the cans, after your adventure back to the Log camp spot Tommy.................... Beastofburden/Patrick.
