Digging in a Rusty Buncher’s Backyard
I had the opportunity to go do some digging with one of the Rusty Bunchers newest members Cara Crane at her farm dump in Mass. Over the course of the summer and spring she and her trusty two daughters have dug some tough cans (Croft Pilgrim Ales, Brockert Pale Ale quarts, Boston Light Ale quarts, Jolly Scot Ale quarts as well as hundreds of Old Topper Snappy Ales right on her property. We spent most of the day digging and found lots of cans, unfortunately many were “roached” (her word for hopeless cans) but we did manage to find some keepers and had a blast. Plus I got some farm fresh eggs. Still cleaning cans and will update later.
Thanks. Dave

Re: Digging in a Rusty Buncher’s Backyard
My mother grew up in Worcester, my wife works in Worcester, and my son is now in grad school at WPI in Worcester. So Brockert has long been one of my favorite brands. Those quarts are tough! That sounds like it must have been a blast to dig that dump!
