A kings trip to New York

#1

Post by Jay »

Just finished up a five day trip to NE New York. We found some cool cans. Still cleaning and sorting. The Kings still need to be cleaned. We found a big pre-war dump, but as usual the pre-war catch came into play and some parts were burned.

It was a great time, lots of stuff to clean. I just got back to Missouri, so I’ll finish them this weekend. I think the most frustrating thing besides the burnt Congress cones is that the early dumps we found were filthy with Bud oi’s. The “We guarantee” all the way to the late 40s can. Lots of fun none the less. We all know how dumping goes. We met some awesome land owners and were given permission wherever we asked. My son Ethan was stoked to find some quarts. It was a great time. The kings cans were a real surprise. The beers and Ales came from separate dumps.
