Had a very slow start to the day, as only a few spots gave up a few cans. Actually found more cone tops than usual but still very slow.
Last spot of the day picked up when I found several large pits and a smaller hillside dump at the same stop.
Biggest pit was probably 5ft wide, loaded with strohs.... with a few goebel and a Tudor mixed in.
The dump was weird.. I noticed several recently unearthed cans from a fallen tree. That’s when I seen several very clean pfeiffer teardrop flats In the ground. This dump has all the commons, but was fun to dig and everything was super clean. Even found 2 old German flats.
I also found a blatz can in a can, which is a much needed upgrade.
