any deep south dumpers?
I'm running low on flats to trade and really want to get back out and do some dumping. I'm not above doing an overnight somewhere, staying at a Motel 6 or something else cheap and clean so we can maximize dumping time. Just as long as it's like within a few hours' drive from New Orleans. I've got an awesome spot near Meridian, a couple of really good ones on the northshore, and some old maps and knowledge of dry/wet counties (don't know dry areas in-state) to go flush out some old cans.
It's November, and it's cool enough to dare to venture outside. Anyone up for some dumping? Louisiana, Mississippi, south Alabama. I haven't been dumping in a long time, and reallly want to get back into the fun side of this hobby.

Would you go as far as Montgomery? I might be able to meet you there sometime. I'm in the Atlanta area.

Dave, I might be able to get out for a bit between Christmas and New Years. I have a couple of ideas on places to go, but no hot leads.
I'm dumping Jax flats-- it's a gas gas gas!

Let's see how my timing falls. I usually go visit a buddy in East Texas for New Year's, but could always extend my trip a day to head out your way, if you could suggest a date.Tom Hoefer wrote:Dave, I might be able to get out for a bit between Christmas and New Years. Re: any deep south dumpers?
I'm still sorry I was so tied up working the whole time I was in Mississippi. I'd have loved to meet halfway, but my schedule rarely allowed it and that's the main reason I took a different job.
I thought late February/early March was just beautiful dumping season out that way. If you still have the jones by that point, I'd gladly take a trip back and do Meridian or someplace in Alabama. Don't fall out of touch - we'll hook up one of these days. I got sort of attached to that part of the world and it wouldn't take much arm twisting to get me back there for a weekend...

a Straight 8 dump? You have my full attention! When and where? I'd love to see your Meridian dump you told me about a while back. I'll be all too happy to show you mine there.Leon wrote:I dump in Huntsville Alabama area usually every Christmas. I should be down their this year & hopefully meet up with Wheaton. I'm planning to be at that show. Afterwards, I'm very much up for some dumping. Ready to spend Saturday night there and make a weekend of it.GaRedClay wrote:It's after the Holidays but how 'bout Saturday Jan 14th after this?:
