Guzzle n Twirl

Wound up with half of my PTO denied, but made it to Minneapolis around 7:00 PM. There were a few rooms open, mostly with breweriana, but there were some nice cans as well. Picked up Lone Star and Van Merritt flats, Iron City and Kol zips, and a 2 gallon Old Style pull tab. Oh, and a “fantasy” Hamm’s magnet. That’s the only politician I can support!

Okay…. Would you believe a grill?

The vents are pull tab shaped. It had been used, but there doesn’t seem to be heat damage to the paint, although there’s some rust spots. The grate is missing too, although I don’t care about that. I got it mainly as an attention getter for my collection when I eventually get room for it. It was cheap.

I have seen grills like that before. I wonder how many different labels exist? These grills could be there own side collection. Glad you were able to make it for most of the show.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

It was a huge turnout!

I didn't take any cans, so I came in with the General Admission crowd. I was probably halfway in line with about 75-100 people in front of me when they opened the doors. It was on an ice rink and it was filled. Probably about half breweraina. Lots of neat stuff. I walked 2.2 miles yesterday with nearly all of it at the show. It was a fun show and I highly recommend it. Lots of Minnesota and Wisconsin stuff. Lots of everything. Sorry, I didn't get any pictures of the show itself. I wanted to be sure to get around to all the tables.

Picked up a bunch of Schmidt cans. Some may be duplicates or upgrades. The crustier ones are gold rings, the remainder are an assortment of yellow stripes. The rest are Suns schedules, quite a few flats and zips that I either didn't have or were upgrades, a few tabs, a couple of town festival cans, and about 10 dollar cans that I thought would be good pickups with a couple being either ones I need or possible upgrades.
Lots of Schmidt and steel

Some decent cones, Hamm's aluminum (I'm a sucker for straight or mostly straight Hamm's aluminum), a freebie baby Coors, a Schmidt's scene (not sure why they did some on this brand), a newer Grain Belt that I thought looked neat, and a 10 oz topless Dixie that I don't think I have.
Some 12's that didn't fit in the other picture, cones, pints, a freebie Coors, and little topless Dixie

I'll add a picture later of the two Muehlebach trays I picked up. They're still in the truck.
