Got these 20 plus years ago at auction at a distributor.
Two variations. Two on top left
Say premium beer in black letters in the gold.
All unopened display cans. Vanity topped.
Also three have enamel gold. So three variations from same
Lot. Top all have same lid.
Falls city find. From 1990s? Show and tell.

Do you still have these? I could use clean examples of all variants.

Re: Falls city find. From 1990s? Show and tell.
The two with the "Premium Beer" in black are the most common of the three, they're out there. The metallic gold oval variation is also seen often. But the enamel gold oval variation in a flat top is the scarce one! I've only seen a few over the years, and in less than stellar condition. It's my understanding that was the last label variation for the flats. Not pictured in the USBC Vol.1 (might be in the online supplement)
The first can pictured in the USBC Vol.2 is the enamel variation but as a zip. All of these cans have the black bands around the label. The most exciting thing about your collection is the CONDITION, yours are superb examples! So often they are scratched and have an abundance of humidity throughout. Plus, the flat top vanity lids with the opening arrows!
Congrats, you've got something there! -fcf.

FCF - thanks for the info!
But these cans are not as clean as they appear in the photo.
They all are scratched. Looks like they were thrown around in a garbage bag.

Sure, those mantellic cans are almost impossible with no scratches at all but compare your examples to this one! This is how you typically see them.
Have fun at the IBC show, wish I could be there. I can't believe it's been 17 years since the late Lea Colvin & Fred Johnson, OctoberAle and myself founded that chapter and show! In a few weeks, I'm headed over to Port Canaveral to attend my first Gator Traders show. Should be fun!

It is actually hard to tell which one is in the online supplement.fallscityfreak wrote: ↑Mon Sep 19, 2022 1:32 pm Sure, those mantellic cans are almost impossible with no scratches at all but compare your examples to this one! This is how you typically see them.

If I had to base it on the seam, I'd say the one in the book is enamel. Then again I always have a hard time unless they are sitting next to each other.
Look forward to seeing you at the Port Canaveral show.

Quite the find for someone. Good for you for picking up the lot. I like Falls City stuff.
Curiously, did you keep them all, sell some along the way, or ???

There was a lot more interest in these than I expected.OhioCanGuy wrote: ↑Wed Sep 21, 2022 4:55 pm Quite the find for someone. Good for you for picking up the lot. I like Falls City stuff.

All the enamels and the ones with the writing in the gold bands are
Spoken for. Might have a couple of the others yet available
One has a huge dent in the side. Are you going to the Indy show?
I had these at a show long time ago about the time I got them there was No interest at that time. Everybody wanted cones or OI cans.
