Michelob/Michelob Light 'Hottest Ski Runs in USA'
I am getting close to completing the Michelob/Michelob Light 'Hottest Ski Runs in USA' series cans. There is one can from the 1997 Michelob series (Winter Park) and 2 from the 1997 Michelob Light series (Mt Snow and Taos) that I am missing, and then there are 3 cans from the 1996 series but I can't figure out which ones they are. The resorts used for 1996 and 1997 are not the same. Does any one know which resorts were a part of the 1996 series? There were 18 cans for the 1996 and 1997 cans and only 6 cans when the series was introduced in 1995. For anyone who is interested I am going to list my extras in the Advertising Section.
WI, MI, MN 12 oz. flats and cones,
crowntainers, 12 oz. tabs,
"Vegas" themed cans, cans with a skiing/snow boarding theme, and
12 oz. Michigan tax stamp cans

@Giant Beer
Not sure if this'll answer your search or not. Try James Tabaska's site in Sturgeon Bay, WI. I've added to my collection over the years from his offerings. Good person to deal with.
Go to this page first, and select "American 12 oz. Older/Obsolete Cans K - M":
https://www.angelfire.com/wi/beercans/
Scroll down the list and you'll see the Michelob and Michelob Light cans listed as existing and available. Select the blue font and it will take you to the list of cans available. Then selecting the name of the can will provide an image of that can. Black font probably means not in stock or unavailable. You can always check with James for availability.

James Tabaska's website is an excellent resource. I picked up quite a few of these cans from him. He's got 14 of the 18 1996 cans listed. Unfortunately not a list of the cans in the complete set.

I remember thinking that those were neat cans when they came out.
I am glad someone is collecting them.

Unless I don't understand the naming of these ski areas, I think that James has Mt Snow available for $7.00. Here's a screen dump. Re: Michelob/Michelob Light 'Hottest Ski Runs in USA'
So all this time I have been thinking that there were 18 cans in the 1996 set. James Tabaska's site has a 'complete set of 18 cans' for sale which lead me to believe that was the number of cans. In actuality, there are only 15. Shout out to @MI-Cansand @jimw630 for their delving into this. It is a good day. I have the complete 1996 set and didn't even know it.

Looking at the above attachment, White Heat, Sunday River, MA is actually in Maine, which is ME not MA which is Massachusetts.
What does 'GW=4' mean?

That GW-4 means the govt. warning was written in four lines on the side. I collected everything new at the time and I remember that used to appear with all of them.

Re: Michelob/Michelob Light 'Hottest Ski Runs in USA'
This is correct, there were many minor changes they tracked where the label was reconfigured which often changed the footprint of the warning, changing the number of lines of text it took up.Beercanpete wrote: ↑Sat Sep 24, 2022 10:21 pm That GW-4 means the govt. warning was written in four lines on the side.
