I was the high bidder in Sunday's Beer Cans Plus auction of a Berghoff cone that I needed to upgrade.
Several years ago, I saw a can at the Fort Wayne chapter Turkey Trot show in the same condition but with a crown for $75. I hesitated buying it. When I returned to that table, it was gone. Since then, all the cans I have looked at have been over $100. I was the high bidder at $50 for the upgrade can shown in the photo. Including the buyer's premium and shipping, it came to $67.50. Yes, even in this day of rapidly escalating can prices, good deals can be found.
