Coulee Region Beer and Brewery Collectable show

#1

Post by ConeAddict »

Anyone know much about this show? I have been to the old style chapter shows at the same venue a few times, there were quite a few cans last year but mostly regional flats/cones and not much prewar stuff. It's always been more of a sign and local stuff show as people around here love the local brewing history. I need to sell some cans in the next few weeks and would rather avoid ebay but not sure if this is can oriented or not, the ad doesn't say much and the contact is the venue. I will go either way just not sure if it worth getting a table. Is this a new show?

Thanks for any info.

Tim

I wasn't even aware of this show until this thread, and I am only an hour away from there. I don't understand who is sponsoring this show. I see no chapter(s) listed.
I go to the Spring show each year at the same venue, and have enjoyed that show.
Sorry I don't have any other input....

I reached out to them and this was the reply:

"This is a new event we are putting on to fill up some open time in the banquet room. It will be similar to that show put on by the local beer club, but on a smaller scale. It can be cans, signs, memorabilia, really anything related to beer and breweries. We have 30 tables sold and as far as attendees I am not sure what to expect. We are advertising it on Facebook, a couple of beer memorabilia websites, and through word of mouth. We do have a 16 team hockey tournament going on at the same time, so we have a captive audience already in the building."

I will probably get a table and bring some cans since it is local for me.

There is no tie-ins with any of the national groups. Strictly an Omni Center show.

FYI, the Old Style Chapter show will be taking place at the same location on May 7.
Wisconsin collector plus anything else that's cool looking.
