Watched a show about him on Christmas day. I had assumed that he was in poor health since I hadn't seen him on TV in years, but it was good to see him in seemingly good health. He apparently was just staying out of the public eye. It was an interesting and enjoyable show and shocking that he died just a few days later.

Watching a segment right now on the tube about the All Madden Team. Lots of great vintage football clips.

Summerall-Madden was perhaps the best duo in sports history. Gary Thorne & Bill Clement also might be in the running.
