A celebration of life for John McGuire

#1

Post by pinnacle-project »

When John died back in January, his wife, Linda was hesitant to have a gathering of any kind due to COVID. Now that the weather is warm and COVID is being brought under control, Linda hosted a celebration of life for John on Saturday. I was pleased with the attendance. Not only were fellow collectors there, friends, relatives, former co-workers, and former students attended.

John was an earth science teacher for most of his career. As I wandered around his home I was pleased to see his personal touch in the flower beds. While Linda is the main gardener in the family, John made his contribution by bringing home rocks from student trips out west and using them in the flower gardens.
