Would You Dive In??

#1

Post by waste-man »

My garage burned down a couple of weeks ago and we finally got done cleaning it out. Unfortunately there were a lot of beer and pop cans in the garage. Here’s all of them that are gonna be hauled to the dump. The real question is, would you take a dive??

I’d do the Nestea Plunge.

I would be in that dumpster in about 3 seconds of looking in it. OR the driver picking it up would make some cash to dump at my house!!

Sure am sorry to hear about this. I absolutely hope you lost nothing of value in the fire, but I doubt you were that fortunate. Hope that insurance covered your losses!!

Hate to hear about the fire but buildings/possessions can be replaced. Glad you're OK.

I'd be glad to pull a few of those out. Be a shame to haul them to the dump. Steel cans are only worth a penny a pound and aluminum only brings about .23 cents a pound at the recycle center but it beats paying a dump fee.

Thanks for the kind responses. I don't think there was much of any value in there. Mostly aluminum soda and beer cans with some crimped steel thrown in. I was suprised how well some of the cans stood up to the fire. You could barely tell the cans were in a huge ball of fire.
