Schmidt’s Porter IRTP steinie bottles

#1

Post by DURTBAGG »

Saw this crate and bottles at a flea market this weekend. Too much damage to the labels to justify the $150 asking price which he wouldn’t budge on. Couldn’t find any images for this IRTP label or bottle online which I thought was interesting. Crowns were standard Schmidt’s with no reference to Porter but no doubt original to the bottles.

Those are nice, but I am sure even with the porter label they are only $5 - $10 bottles, but you might only sell half the case.

At $75 this would probably be an OK buy, instead the dealer will cart from show to show, adding more and more wear and tear to the labels until there is nothing left.....
Wanted: Hartford Connecticut Breweriana for my collection.....
