Ghost town in OK worth checking out?

I was reading the book "Killers of the Flower Moon" and the town of Whizbang was an decadent oil town in the 1920's and 30's. Maybe very much in decline by the time beer cans came around but post office didn't close until 1942 so there may be something buried around there. Nothing left but some old foundations in the middle of nowhere now from the sounds of it.

Edit: On google maps it shows it is actually on the Osage Reservation, if so I wouldn't feel right about walking around with a metal detector
