Hoping For a Little Help....Want to get your cans and some breweriana in a movie?

A gentleman named Matt Marks is looking for the following to be included in a movie. He needs everything in about 2 weeks.

He is in the Cincinnati area and hoping some folks can help him out. @Lovegun

Hoping someone local can help but if not he is willing to provide shipping.

According to Matt:
For PBR we are looking for at least 25, but as many as 50. Again, they would all need to be from the 80s and most should have sta-tabs.

87/88 Budweiser, Coors, old style, and Busch’s. If anyone has cardboard case packaging, wed be interested as well. The cans should not have any special sports team photos or specialty event branding - we only want the classic straightforward beer cans.

Lastly we would love cardboard beer boxes from 80s (can be earlier than 87 for this). Something like a 24bottle brown box with graphics. The caveat here is we need at least two that are matching to use in the scene.

Matt Marks Also wants to make sure the right props are used. He asked "What do you think young guys would drink in 1988 in the mid west. Trailer park / pickup truck crowd

Depends on how "young" he's talking about. I was once a young guy that ran with the pickup truck crowd, and while in high school, the goal was to get as much alcohol for the dollar as possible down your throat.....so that meant inexpensive malt liquor...colt 45....schlitz....magnum...etc. But honestly, if we could get wine, that was a better bang for the buck.... Annie Green Springs Peach Creek Wine..... Boones Farm Strawberry Hill.... Sutter Home White Zinfandel. Just about killed myself. College we graduated to actual beer.... coors or michelob if we were splurging....but too often we had generic beer or that falstaff buy american $0.99/6pack crap

I actually lived in a trailer in '88... If it wasn't Busch beer it was Boone's farm Strawberry Hill or Tickled Pink and many occasions it was MD 20/20 (Mad Dog 20/20).
Sorry, wished I could help with the props.

I was at Bowling Green Stat U (Ohio) in 1988. I drank Busch almost exclusively. It was the best of the cheap beers. I cut the sides off of the Busch can boxes and used them as wall paper. Looked pretty cool when I had the entire wall done....lol. I think Meister Brau was a popular brand at school too. The "ice" type beers were just coming out and had a slightly higher alcohol content then the regular stuff and don't forget about Zima...LOL!
