Meister Brau Fiesta Pack International DRAFT
Does anyone know if any other Meister Brau Fiesta Pack International cans were made as, "Draft" as shown in this picture? This version of the cans is not in the BCCA book. I have not been able to dig up any history on this variation.

Those are test cans from a brewery employee... there are 4 other different ones. I got 4 and the Ex-Man got 4 from a Chicago show a few years ago!

@mythica
Bob, that is a fantastic set! Congrats on putting it together.
None are listed in the Supplement nor does @Beercanpete mention them in his Joy Of Sets article. Wonder how he would grade them?
You've already offered to put up anyone coming out to take pics of your awesome collection. Maybe this will provide more incentive to finally get out there.

Bob,
Fantastic! I’m pretty sure this makes you the official king of set cans. If there’s someone else who should have the title correct me.
Sweet cans!

Re: Meister Brau Fiesta Pack International DRAFT
Absolutely super cool cans!
When I put together my checklist I tried to include only cans that were actually sold and contained beer. Any evidence any of these were ever filled and sold? (I doubt it)

Re: Meister Brau Fiesta Pack International DRAFT
The cans were not filled. They are short sheets from 1954 wrapped over a body blank (circa 1968-1970). There has been a metallic label meticulously added to create the new front label consistent with Meister Brau cans from the 1960's. There is an American Can Company Sticker on the lid of each can. To the best of my knowledge, these were a part of a group of retro-looking can design options for Meister Brau's consideration. Meister Brau did not appear to choose this retro International option, leaving these 8 cans as part of a legacy for Meister Brau seeking options to refresh their label.Beercanpete wrote: ↑Sat Jun 18, 2022 10:24 pm Absolutely super cool cans!
