Many have had the pleasure of sitting with John at numerous shows listening to his stories about dumping and the hobby in general for hours and hours, never a repeat. Take a look at any of the Rustlings from the 1980’s and you will see McGuire an integral part of so many dumping exploits with Van Hine, Hicks, Johnston, Adamowicz and Launt, (three of those names already RB HOF members, and sadly Van Hine, Hicks and Johnston no longer with us). John has always been more than generous with trades, and once you get past his booming voice and gruff personality, he is really a big teddy bear, and the type of friend anyone should want to have. Any of you with those rare Detroit Drewrys tabs…they likely came from John.
