John was one of the original 4 who conceived and started the Rusty Bunch at the Houston CANvention. John has been RB President once and Vice President twice. He also convinced the BCCA to have a Dumper Category for CANvention displays, on which he regularly contributes to at CANventions. For 7 years he wrote the dumping column for the BCCA magazine, at the time known as “The Dumpers Almanac.” John has extensively dumped in the Lake of the Ozarks with his brothers’ and his chronicles contributions to the early Rustlings.
