Design question: brand name below midline

This is a Pacific Brewing Tahoe (photo by Dan Morean via a Google image search, I hope he's fine with this use of it). Maybe my favorite can design -- late '50s chill. It occurred to me that it is a bit of an outlier, because the brand name is below the midline. The brand name captions a big image.

Here's another can with the same strategy -- big image, caption below.
Hals flat.jpg
Last night, drifting off to sleep and fantasizing idly of beer cans as one does, I thought of maybe half a dozen other examples -- brand name clearly on the bottom, not midway, if you have to measure, it doesn't count. I thought it might be fun to make a list of these. A few are really common brands in the USBC1. There are more of them now with craft cans, of course -- there is more of everything. And 12 ounce only -- if a big "KING SIZE" stripe on the top pushed it down, that doesn't count. (Even so, there are fewer 16oz below-the-midlines than you might expect -- designers want to keep that brand name high!)

What other brand-below-the-midline designs are on your shelves? Paste in a photo if you have time.

Bill - Here is one off my shelf. I don't have this in a 12 oz can but the design is the same.

Fun. I guess it's more like a labeled artwork (words at bottom) than a newspaper headline (words at top). That Tahoe would look real odd if it were flipped. Any photoshop pro's out there this afternoon?

I always liked that Sunshine design, Charlie, but as I was dropping some acid today, as schoolteachers do, it occurred to me that the can is the sky, man, and the sun is up, and it's beautiful, man, now I see the whole deal.

Thanks MI- I stand corrected. That doesn't look bad after all. Would make a great variation.

The one that always got me was the brand names that are cursive ALWAYS go up and to the right, like a right hander would scrawl (unless it's arched). Can't think of a single label that goes down and to the right. Do lefties scrawl down or up? Questions...

Then, there are those pints that just stretch the 12oz design like a funhouse mirror without referencing just how giant they are down there.

@menke Yo, dog, that was gonna be the next thread. Start it up and I'll come in after you. The phenomenon you're observing is so solid that it is almost a law of nature. I got a few exceptions, enough to prove the hell out of the rule.

Well, Menke's post is pointing out that issue here. That they start low left and go to upper right -- there is almost nothing that descends, left to right.
