I was told once there was cans metbrew pull tabs. Does anyone know if this is right or found anything underneath one? :smt017

The Metbrew rubout is a flattop, it also comes in a bank. The flat does not say Near Beer under Metbrew like the tab. I’ve had a couple duds of these lately, they don’t show up all that often. Lovegun originally posted one- Ziphippie

Okay thanks for the scoop, so the pull tab with the wide straight metal seam is always a dud? So those two metbrews cleaned off that nice to expose the old ranger and 7 11? What do you use for paintovers?

I did not have any success with the half dozen wide seam tabs I had- not to say they aren’t out there. It’s usually pretty easy to tell in hand on these by checking out the seam or looking for embossing of the label underneath.
I use turtle wax heavy duty rubbing compound and a lot of qtips on these- Ziphippie
