Blown away by Burger Ale eBay sale!

#1

Post by Pbama » Sat Nov 02, 2019 10:27 pm

I was stunned at the final price of below Burger Ale pull tab that I just sold on eBay. @Woody said it would do good but I never expected that good. Besides the fact that it is a sharp looking can, can anybody explain why this can drew so much interest on eBay?

I'm Blown away also. It only gets a $10 price in the book which sounds about right to me. But as soon as it's clean with tab intact I guess that adds $400+ to the price :smt017

The variation with the yellow writing at bottom that's hard to see is definitely pretty tough to find, but I don't think it's $450 tough …

That is a tough variation and is rarely seen clean and bottom opened, but in my opinion, still way overpriced.

On eBay, we have seen clean cans go stupid. Even slag that you can't give away, if it is mint and bottom opened, somebody will pay $1 or $2 plus shipping.

Maybe the RB member that purchased it will be willing to chime in with regards to the value...
