Leaving for the show in about 2 hours. At least three of us heading up from Columbus.

Buy, Sell, Trade, Drink... Repeat!!! Sounds like fun to me!

It's nice to see the geographic reach this show is developing. That must have been about a six hour drive for you. I am glad what you found made it worth the trip.

Surprised we haven’t seen more pics... we had a great time here, picking up cans and catching up with lots of active collectors. This show has a great old time blue/gray vibe, without the creepy foam in the hot tub. Shower made me feel right at home. Paltry coffee maker, made up for with mountains of sausage and French toast in the Buffett. Some incredible cans showed up, too!

Definitely some good cans floating around this show. One of the blowouts mentioned by menke was a collector from Texas named Phil. I'm sure some of you know him. He drove over 900 miles to to sell off a portion of his collection. Pretty sure that's where the Waldorf Red Band above came from. It was quite the feeding frenzy in his room as he was pulling cans out and opening totes. How many old, gruff, beer drinking, beer can guys can you get in a room? Answer: A lot if there are good cans for sale!! I identified a few cans I potentially wanted, but I hesitated. My mistake. You snooze, you lose in this crowd!

I did manage to fill a few holes in the collection. Burger is an ever so slight upgrade. Jaguar zip is super nice. Reflections from the cans next to it aren't really there on the can itself. Beverwyck low pro is rather common, but this is an especially nice example, from Charlie Smith. A nice Royal Amber cone has eluded me for the last several years. Picked up this place holder from Jeff Lebo. He and I laughed as he thought he sold it too cheap and I was convinced I paid too much, LOL!! Anyway, decent can until I find a really nice one.

Good to see some guys I haven't seen in a while and got a chance to meet a few guys from this site in person. Good show.

Nice grabs!, and thanks again for bringing the bottles with you to the show, really like that Royal Amber cone, I found a pretty darn nice flat Royal Amber for a very reasonable price, I wouldn't say I knocked out of the park at the show, but did pick up a few nice cans and of-coarse more bottles...lol.

The Phil mentioned above was Phil Kelleher and his father Patrick. Nice collectors and he hopes to be back again next year.

We had them from Texas, NY, Penn, Missouri, Illinois, Ohio, Michigan, Canada, Indiana, Tennessee, Virginia and probably somewhere else I missed.

Turn out was good. we improved on a couple things from year one and will continue to make things better for those that came. I don't think it will be long and this show will be the go to show on the east coast in the fall. For those that came this year, I will be sending an email for you to have first chance at your room. after that I will open it up to everyone else. Don't wait as it will sell fast i'm guessing.

Hope to see you there next year.
