As some are aware, the Gateway Chapter has done a couple of raffles to raise some funds to help with Canvention 2020 costs next year. We plan to do two more next year. Anyway, recently there was donation from BCCA member Bill Dittmore consisting of 40 Canvention cans, stating with 1972 and going up through 2014. Along with 2015 through 2019, there were a few missing cans, including the first one in St. Louis. Back to the raffles, I had an idea to take Bill's donation and try to make up a full set of cans to use as a prize for one of the future raffles.
The tough one was going to be the 1971 can. Well, along comes Clayton, who at the Albuquerque Canvention won the can pictured above for his participation in the recent BCCA trivia content. I don't think he had the can in his hand for even 30 seconds, and what does he do but turn around and donate it to Gateway for our raffle! On behalf of Gateway, the BCCA, and everyone who will benefit from a great Canvention in 2020, I want to personally thank Clayton for his generosity and love for this great hobby and terrific club!

Thanks Clayton
John, that is a great idea. A complete set would certainly make for a great prize.

Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.
