LABOR DAY WEEKEND FLEA MARKET FINDS

#1

Post by DURTBAGG »

A few things picked up at a flea market I go to every Labor Day weekend. Wish I would have found the can counterparts to the bottles! The Atlantic bottle is IRTP so it would have been fantastic to find that same condition as a cone top! A pair of Patrick Henry “Magistrate” cans would have been sweet as well, but you take what you can get!! Ironically, even though both are from from MI, the Sebewaing can and the Patrick Henry bottles were from two totally different dealers.

Hope others that couldn’t make it to Canvention have been able to add something to their collections this week!

Interesting Michigan stuff found down there. If I went to a Flea Market here in Michigan would I find Virginia Breweriana? I noticed your Patrick Henry bottle is slightly different then mine, yours has the Alcohol % & mine don't. Can you save one for me. Thanks & Congrats on your find :smt023 LEON.

The Patrick Henry magistrate cans and bottles were shipped out of state. If I recall correctly, it went to West Virginia but I may be a little off on that. I would need to check the next time I have a Newspapers.com subscription again. I usually let the subscription lapse over the warm months of the year.

I have a bottle just like his. I did not realize there is a version without the alcohol statement.
Focus: Cones and flats from Michigan, South Bend, and Fort Wayne. Foreign cans only if I bought them myself in the country of origin.

2023 Shows Attended

* Michigan Chapter Winterfest, January 14, Frankenmuth Michigan
* Cabin Fever Reliever, February 24, Mishawaka Indiana
* Buckeye, March 11, Toledo Ohio
* SummerSwap, July 21 & 22, Frankenmuth Michigan
